Smart energy and sustainability

Smart energy and sustainability

Make use of our insights into user behaviour to drive your business forward.

The energy sector is facing a number of challenges as a result of the introduction of smart meters and smart grid, alongside requirements to meet carbon reduction commitments. We systematically involve relevant stakeholders in the development and evaluation of initiatives and products in the energy sector. Our work is based on comprehensive knowledge of the interplay among people, energy and technology.

The role of consumers is changing, and it is vital to encourage consumer engagement in energy issues. This makes new demands on consumers, utility companies and other stakeholders. Utility companies are facing an increasing need to differentiate themselves in the market to maintain existing customers and capture new business.

When developing solutions to address sustainability challenges, we combine three areas of expertise: Technology, human behaviour and energy consumption. By understanding the interplay among these elements, we can help promote sustainable behaviour and develop innovative IT-enabled solutions that meet the end users’ needs. With this approach, we help our customers to develop the right solutions for their consumers.

We have long experience in the area of energy and sustainability. We have advised the Danish Minister for Energy, Utilities and Climate, and we provide expertise for the development of smart grid and energy-optimised building.

Contact us to discuss how we can help your organisation in the area of energy and sustainability – whether you are a local authority, a private company, an energy advisor or an architect.
