Nikolaj Juul Madsen

Nikolaj has a Bachelor's degree in mathematics with a secondary subject in statistics from Aarhus University, where his work has focused on statistical models in particular, such as DNA sequencing or coalescence theory, and biostatistics such as survival analysis and statistical inference.

In addition, he has a Master's degree in statistics from Aarhus University, where he worked with statistical modeling of time series data and "spatial data". His main focus is on predictive analytics and machine learning, non-life insurance and risk analysis, optimisation and game theory.

Nikolaj has previously worked as a biostatistician at Aarhus University Hospital, Psychiatry. At the Alexandra Institute, Nikolaj works primarily with interpretability of machine learning, recommender systems and time series.
