The focus of Marie’s work is user involvement, innovation strategies and knowledge dissemination. She is engaged in studying how people interact with technology and how to develop technology that enriches our everyday lives and fosters sustainability.
Marie uses a number of research-based methods to help small and medium-sized enterprises unleash their innovation potential through new technology, organisational development, or business transformation – but always with the end users as active participants in the process.
She facilitates and participates in research projects and provides concrete solutions to companies that benefit from her expertise in qualitative user studies and user involvement in all phases of an innovation process – incl. needs identification, idea generation, prototyping, product development, and go-to-market strategies.
Marie is also an experienced speaker at different knowledge dissemination events and network activities where she contributes to university-industry knowledge transfer.
Marie has an MA in Media and Communication from Aarhus University.
