Henrik has a BA in Computer Science and an MSc in Biomedical Technology. His PhD was about MRI scans of hearts at Aarhus University Hospital.
Henrik specialises in advanced image processing and throughout his career, he has worked as a researcher and taught computer vision and deep learning.
He has helped to develop advanced image processing techniques that are able to locate the heart automatically and measure its pumping function in MRI scans. This enables a computer to perform a scan and generate a diagnostic report with the touch of a single button. He has also worked on how to make computers recognise facial expressions.
Henrik works on e.g. solving different computer vision tasks, which includes identification and recognition of objects in images on different platforms such as Windows and iPhone.
